Letter
10U boys kicked the season off right by coming in second place and winning a D-2 bid to nationals
at the Boo Williams Super Regional. Great job by Coach Roger's, and staff for guiding this new team.
Coach
Nelson 12U boys had their sights set on winning a D-2 bid to nationals and they traveled to Hampton Va. and won the Bronze
Medal and a bid to D-2 nationals. Coach Nelson has this team moving in the right direction.
Coach Karen and her
All-Star Junior cheerleader squad went to the UCA nationals in Orlando, Fl. And performed beautifully with one of the smallest
squads and they were the only all African American squad. They placed 9th out of 15.
Coach Chase (Quiet
Storm) 13U girl's team went to a Super Regional in early March in Hampton Va. and come up one game short. So Coach Chase
went back to the gym for perfection. He got it at the Richmond Va. Super Regional by winning the GOLD MEDAL and a bid to D-1
nationals.
Coach Franklin 17U boys team went to Charlottesville, Va. and defended their championship from last
year by repeating as 2007 East Coast Fusion champions. The team finished it's preseason by winning the Cardinals 17U tournament.
Now they start their season of playing at tournaments in front of College Coaches.
Coach Campbell took his 15U
boys team to the Super Regional in Hampton Va. with only 5 practices and they came up one game short. Next PV Regionals.
Coach Bryant took his 13U girls team to the Charm City Tournament in Baltimore for a good workout in an effort to get
ready for their PV Regionals.
